Nebobongo Hospital is a Christian run hospital that is under the authority of the regional church, CECCA-16 in the northeast corner of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). The Nebobongo Evangelical Hospital, for all of its resource challenges, remains the best-equipped and staffed hospital in an area serving over 260,000 people in one of the poorest regions of one of the poorest countries on earth. The fact that they have doctors and medicine in their pharmacy puts them on a level above the majority of hospitals in the area.
The medical debt forgiveness program allows Nebobongo Hospital to treat all patients whether or not they can afford to pay for their care. Many hospitals in Congo have prisons where they will keep patients after they are discharged until their family can pay their bill to release them. Our partner program allows people to receive care at a hospital that shares the love of Jesus, grace and forgiveness through debt relief. People who need medical care don't have to choose between treatment and freedom to receive care.

Below is a list of past and current projects we have been involved with. Since many of them are in response to a crisis such as a natural disaster or an epidemic our engagement is divided into two areas: Relief (responding to an immediate crisis) and Development.

My wife was operated on at IBAMBI for a cesarean section but seven days later we were transferred to NEBOBONGO hospital. I had lost hope, but thanks to prayers I was comforted and we saw the hand of God because my wife survived these complications.
I worship God in Revival Church, I was not convinced of the existence of GOD, but after my child was healed and we saw the prayer here in the hospital, I accepted Christ as my savior.
I give glory to God that the state in which my wife arrived here is not that of today. My wife had life-threatening complications due to genital hemorrhage after the expulsion of the placenta. Although she is not completely healed, we ask you to continue to pray for us, as we see the hand of God on her.
We greatly thank God Almighty for His mighty hand on our dad's health. We accompanied our dad who had suffered from prostate problems for a long time. Through his illness, here at the hospital we learned and understood in depth who Jesus is and how he intervened in Dad’s case.
I thank God for my state of health which improved in this hospital and I saw and received Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. Pray that I never return to Canaan (pagan life) because I almost died.
I sincerely thank God for curing me here at Nebobongo Hospital. I spent six months at LIBIKI hospital without success. I arrived here and saw the powerful hand of God on my health. I have joy toward God and the caregivers of this hospital since I am doubly healed physically and spiritually.
I give glory to God because of the state of health of my big sister who had come here in a bad state because of the hypertension which threatens her every life. We didn't know if she could survive. May the name of God be glorified forever and bless this hospital.
My wife and I greatly thank GOD Almighty, master of our life. We pray at FEPACO NZAMBE MALAMU church where I am a pastor. I had arrived at the hospital without knowing if I would survive. Even my family members had no idea and even less hope that I could survive in this disease because I was paralyzed on one side. Today I leave in good health. May God’s name be glorified and may He bless the NEBOBONGO hospital.
I present my gratitude for GOD, the creator of heaven and earth. While my husband considered me healthy, I was not. With the help of quality care and service from the chaplain who prayed each time for me, GOD has healed me and I received Jesus Christ as Savior of my life.
I thank Almighty God for His wonders to me. Seeing my child who has just lost his entire right hand in the field and the behavior of his teacher, I intended when I left the hospital to go to consult the withc doctors in order to seek revenge. Thank you for the sermons, spiritual advice and prayers that my wife and I have received here. We charge you to continue to pray for us so that we do not fall into this trap of revenge.
I really know today that God exists, since I intended to go and consult with the witch doctors when I left the hospital in order to complicate the life of the one who made me physically handicapped today. They cost me to lose one of my feet and I wanted revenge. I repent, I will not do this, for the glory of God. Please keep praying for me.
I continue to praise God for the medical care and state of my father's health which is evolving very positively. We were not sure that he would come out of the hospital cured, because of this urinary disorder that persisted. Thank you for the care, meditations and prayers received during the days we spent here.
I did not believe that I would come out of here alive because the traffic accident that I experienced should have been fatal. By the grace of God Most High, the prayers here, and servants of God who came to visit us, I came out alive. I commit myself to follow this Mighty God all my life.
I repent before the Eternal, because, being a Christian, I had gone to consult the witch doctor in order to identify the cause of illness which had lasted a long time. Faced with this message of Christ that challenges us to seek peace with everyone and with ourselves, I am a new Christian. I am committed to consult only God for the evolution of health. I am overjoyed for my repentance.
I give glory to God for his complete deliverance of my life. I underwent surgery three times without success, but alas, this time the hand of God was so powerful. He healed me physically and spiritually. I praise him.
I glorify God for the improvement in my state of health from which I suffered for a long time due to urinary complications. I am a Christian committed to CECCA-16, but I served God with one foot in and the the other in the world. Before I came here, I went to consult the witch doctos to know the origin of my illness. As I work as a tailor, I believed that people bewitched me. Through the Word of God that I heard here in the hospital, I ask God to be able to forgive me, and I give him my whole life.
